By installing or using Limpid Chess ("the app"), made by Lone Bee, you agree to these terms.

The app

Limpid Chess is a single-player chess game for learning and fun. It is provided free of charge, with an optional one-time "Premium" in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited daily games, unlimited puzzles, all opponents, and the local Face to Face two-player mode.

Purchases and refunds

The Premium upgrade is sold and processed through Google Play. The price is shown in your local currency before you confirm. Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policies.

Open-source license

Limpid Chess is free software, released under the GNU General Public License, version 3.0. The complete corresponding source code is available at github.com/Hatscat/limpidchess. You are free to use, study, share, and modify the software under the terms of that license.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use. This does not affect your mandatory statutory consumer rights, nor the warranty terms of the GPL-3.0.

Third-party names

Lichess, Chess.com, Stockfish, OpenMoji, OpenDyslexic, Godot Engine, and Google Play are the property of their respective owners. Limpid Chess is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date will change. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
